The parish of Bulahdelah / Tea Gardens extends from Tea Gardens in the south to Coolongolook in the north—a distance of approximately 100 kilometres. The two centres within the parish are St Andrews Tea Gardens and St Johns Bulahdelah. The township of Bulahdelah is essentially a rural centre servicing a large district. Tea Gardens is a growing retirement area with a population that swells during holiday times.
