16Aug2006 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Resting Heidi
Well someone had to have that headline... Sorry about the sucky lack of updating, I just suck in general. However, this update isn't just for the apologising about being a crap webchick, sad Heidiage is afoot.. This was posted on their MySpace today:

"oh the waiting... oh the waiting.... ok, hi everyone. Here is the news: We are taking a break from killing heidi for a while but do not see this as a break up! It is us needing to try something else for a little while cos its all we've done for 9 years now. Killing Heidi will be playing some shows in the next 6 months so if you really want to you can get to these shows. I will post the dates as they are confirmed. Ella and Jesse are working on a new as yet unnamed project and will be playing in vic and nsw trying out new material and playing a few oldies too. Pedro is rocking with the very loud and very talented "Monster Truck Extravaganza" (see our top friends for a link to their myspace) so check them out when they start doing shows soon. Hopefully you guys will like what we all get up to over the next little while!!! There have been requests to change the new traks to downloads so i will look into that too!!! Thanks everyone for your continued support, we love playing for you guys and look forward to seeing on the road again soon!!!"

Granted, it's not exactly a suprise. But it's still disapointing that this is happening before hte release of Heidi 4. but it seems to be what's right for the band, which is fabulous and I'm sure everyone is looking forward to hearing the stuff that Ella and Jesse and Monster Truck put out. Good luck Heidi kids, if there was some variety of special Killing Heidi salute, now would be the time to give it to you.

Can't be too long now untill the sweet sweet sounds of new music hits our ears!

Well Heidi Heads it's nearly time you started doing the funky chicken dance all the way down to your local cd shop because Killing Heidi are now out of the studio and the new album is off being mixed!

Yep, you read right dudes and dudettes! more Heidi goodness still to come your way.

Start doing a happy dance around the lounge room people cos you can still catch KH on their Summerlong tour (even though it is now Autumn. Whaddya know?)

Long serving webmaster and all round legend Cavey retires from The Killing Heidi Realm.

Unfortunately due to the restrictive nature of his busy schedule, Cavey has had to hang up his Killing Heidi Realm webmaster socks after nearly 5 years of brilliant dedication. His work here has been great and kept us all up to date with the latest Killing Heidi news and he shall be sorely missed.
But fear not! The Realm is not going to disappear. My name's Alice and I'll make sure the place is reasonably well looked after and occasionally updated with news and photos and other such things. But you'll have to bear with me for a while as i try to fix the links, put up the photos and the streams, and work out my way around the place.

'Till then have a look around at what is still here and enjoy yourself!

27May2004 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Killing Heidi items for sale
As the title sugests, I have some Killing Heidi items on offer to you.

Before you ask, no, I haven't stopped listen to Killing Heidi - I still enjoy the band and their music. However, I no longer find the need to have ALL these CDs in my collection as many of them are compilations with the same songs. However, if you are a Killing Heidi FREAK then you might like some of these in your collection, so take a look.

Many of the photos on this site is listed across serveral geocities accounts. Several of those pages may have been deleted over time due to inactiveness, so I am now moving all Killing Heidi photos over to Photobucket.com.u.

22May2004 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Single to radio shortly
It is expected that Killing Heidi's newest single will be released to radio within several weeks. Meanwhile, it is said that Killing Heidi will be featured on the up-and-coming soundtrack to Spiderman 2.

And speaking of movies, several members of the band appear in the newly released film Thunderstruck. Check it out now at a cinema near you.

01Apr2004 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Rehearsals begin
With the yet-to-be titled third album scedualed for release in May, Killing Heidi have just started rehearsals this week for the first time since ariving bacnk in Australia. The band will support their new album with a tour; no dates as of yet.

The album is currently being mastered in the 'states, with the track listing still to be finalised.

18Feb2004 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Third album on its way
In December of 2003 Killing Heidi headed over to the USA to start work on their third album. Over the past few months they have been recording tracks for their yet-to-be titled follow up to 'Present'. The band is due back in Australia over the next few weeks (unless plans have changed), but as always there is no set release date for the album.

Fans can visit the official Killing Heidi website and log on to the message boards, where the band members frequently visit and talk amongt fans.

03Dec2003 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Special acoustic gigs in Melbourne
Yes, we finally have some worthwhile news to report! With the last few months being spent writing new material, Killing Heidi are now playing two acoutic shows in Melboure, which will surely showcase some of their newest material. The two gigs are both in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

14Jul2003 - The Killing Heidi Realm: Corner Hotel - Final 2003 gig?
Although currently unofficial, there's a strong rumor that Killing Heidi will be playing at the Corner Hotel, in Richmond, Melbourne on August 23. The band were due to have no more gigs until March 2004, acording to Warren Jenkin whilst in Sydney for their Opera House gig, so if that is the case, this up-coming gig in August may be your last chance to see the band until next year.
