Wazza talks with The Heidi Realm
After Killing Heidi's performance at Ferntree Gully, Warren graciously got me in the little band after-party, and I spoke with him about what's next for Killing Heidi.

--Killing Heidi are currently recording for their new album, with around 15 new tracks, and 8-or-so "killer tracks", and the song writing is more about Ella's transitions in life, rather than Reflector where it was more about growing up
--Unlike Australia (where there are national radio stations : Triple J etc..) in USA there is a different radio station for each state, which is why they keep on returning there so much
--KH will tour Japan sometime in the future, but their schedule is very full up, with touring America and recording their next Australian album the main priorities - Their manager Paul Kosky was in Japan at the time of the gig
--Expect their new single, and/or album to be released sometime around July 2001 - thus, there is very little chance of Killing Heidi touring Australia before then.

Killing Heidi, Primary, Tadpole & COG all played brilliant sets @ Ferntree Gully Hotel reopening, which sold out 1000tx @$20 in no time flat. All bands seemed to have a great time and enjoyed the mini tour together. Great to see Tom from Shihad in the Melb 'burbs checking out the gig. Thanks to Primary from Luke Gower of COG for letting him passout on their motel floor after a big night end of tour celebration. KH & TPA thank Magmusic's Simon and Bec Smith for re-generating this great venue.

Killing Heidi @ Penrith Panthers -1450 payers @$23 each- sold out early, no single on air, and was the first chance for them to play to this vast catchment area of the Western Sydney basin. This was their warm-up gig after returning from a gruelling promotional tour of the USA. They have gone to another level now. well done and I can't wait to hear some of the new songs written since multi-Aria award winning debut album- Reflector
