As I was a futurist for the best part of 23 years, I can hardly blame others for believing in this way. I have to admit though, it was my hunger for the pretty picture that my teachers portrayed to support this false doctrine. Let me make it quite clear though, that I don't see any prophetic doctrine as a salvation issue, and therefore I love all my Christian brothers and sisters no matter what their belief regarding prophecy. I could hardly imaging God turning away a faithful servant who kept His commandments, and lived a moral life believing in Christ, but did not hold to a certain modern doctrine. Salvation is about sin. Nothing more...nothing less. God sent His only begotten Son to SAVE us from our sins.
