Why are we here...?

Assuming God did indeed create the universe and all that is in it, then yes life must have a meaning. All living things have a reason for their actions, so is God any different? Of course not, there is none more alive than God Almighty.  Even if you choose not to believe in God, but instead believe we evolved from apes who in turn evolved from matter, then you still have to ask yourself who created matter? So if you choose to believe in evolution, then you have to believe God allowed it to happen, otherwise this theory has no foundation, and therefore no beginning and so then becomes so easily fragmented. Something cannot come from nothing on it's own, it has to be created. Just like plucking a chicken, piece by piece the evolution theory can very easily be dismantled, so save yourself the time and stress and just go straight to the beginning where the only rational explanation can be a creator ... God. Doing this may save your life!

For those who stubbornly refuse God as creator, you may as well go read comic books for the rest of your life as without a creator...there can be no meaning. Now for those who believe in a creator, or at least keep the minds open, please read on. Some might want to think God created us for His own entertainment, or some might come up with some other weird fantasy like God is an alien, but if so, who then created that alien? Well I like most people, believe God created us for a reason, but what reason is the question here. To find out we might first look at why Lucifer was cast out of heaven.

ISA 14:12   How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

As I see it, heaven is a perfect spiritual state (not so much a place) where none die, full of loyal obedient righteous angels (good spirits) that are totally on the side of God their creator. But one of those good spirits called Lucifer, turned bad and rebelled against God seeking to take His throne and stir up all the other angels to follow him. Well God caught wind of this didn’t he, and cast the devil and what other followers he had out of heaven and reduced their days to earth. The fact that His own creation turned against Him saddened God, and being a loving God, He wanted ALL His creation to be part of heaven forever, so there and then He decided to make a plan to make all this possible, that would fill heaven with only loyal and trustworthy souls. As one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch, God knew that one bad spirit can influence many others, so His plan had to be certain not to let in any defects. A perfect plan was then manifested by God, and the beginning of this plan was creation of man and woman in His image.

So the meaning of life is a chance our creator God has given us to reach a higher order spiritually, so that we may be regarded worthy to join with God along with all the other angels who had remained loyal to Him. At first this was done by keeping a bunch of rules and laws that God made known to his prophets to preach and prophecy to the multitude. This was basically: sin equals death and righteousness equals life. But because of mans pride and desires of the flesh (sin) instead of righteousness, it soon became evident to God that the way things were going, heaven would be near empty, and this is where the master plan was to come to the rescue. Another chance to overcome sin through the precious blood of God’s only begotten Son known as Jesus to the English speaking western world, but also known as Yahoshua ( Original Hebrew),Yahshua,( old Hebrew)  Yeshua (modern Hebrew), and  Iesous, (koine Greek)  Link to Messiah names.   www.apostolic.net/biblicalstudies/yeshua.htm

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18

This is basic science; the flesh will eventually die and rot away to nothing, but the soul which resides within that flesh is not matter at all, but spirit which is also invisible (unseen), so it lives on according to the desires of its Creator. I cannot be certain because the bible is not absolutely clear on this, but I can only assume God rewards those souls who are worthy with life eternal with Him, and for those who are not worthy He takes what little they do have, and sends them away. Whether this is spiritual death, or being sent back to the flesh, I cannot be sure; all I can advise is to focus on the rewards and don't look back.

Just to get off track for a minute let me say this; by believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the one given all authority to judge and rule in heaven (spiritual world) and earth (physical world) in new testament times, all your sins to date will be washed away and forgotten by God the father, and any future sins that you are sincerely sorry for are also forgiven by the blood of the lamb. But remember this, God knows your heart and therefore your motives, so if you premeditate sin by thinking its ok to sin this time because later I can ask forgiveness and all will be kosher, then forget it because God will turn His back on you and not listen to your selfish prayers for forgiveness unless you sincerely seek righteousness. This is only a second chance, not guaranteed entry into heaven folks, so don’t get the idea by professing Jesus is your saviour with the tongue but not the heart will get you a free ride to heaven, because it wont. Only by putting your faith into action is this possible. JAM 2:17    Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

By being unloaded from your sins so to speak, makes way for a new life in righteousness that opens the door to truth. Once found and experienced, it is this truth that sets you free from your sins forever by keeping your heart pure from all forms immorality. presenting you worthy before God for His pleasure. Are we condemned to hell if we slip up? Of course not, what kind of God do you think He is. He is a loving God and stands for life...not death, but should you renounce Him, or go back to your old ways, then you will find it almost impossible to find your way back to God. Although He wants you back, once you taste the sweat taste of life, and then choose to go back to the path that leads to death, then God will not stand in your way. With God out of the way, the devil has a clear run with you. Pray you will never find yourself in this position. Now, back to the plot.

The sum total of the meaning of life is this; there is a better place to go for those who seek it, and this place don’t belong to just anybody. Because sin equals death, meaning hell (second death), those who don’t believe in the one who paid the ransom for sin, cannot find this better place, but find hell instead; whatever that means. So the meaning of life is to get above this world we live in, to reach a state of being where only the pure intentions abound, a state or place where fear has no authority over us, a state of being where one need not worry about good or bad…right or wrong…pain or suffering, because these things will have hold on us because of our pure thoughts.

REV 21:4    And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Looking at it from a different angle by taking God out of the equation, still life has a meaning to us mortals. If there is no god, i.e. nothing higher that mankind, then we all become gods of the planet if we care about our children and descendants, and our duty as gods would be to concern ourselves with the sustainability of man on earth. It is quite obvious to even the fool that in the current mindset of governments and the greedy around the globe, that very little if any concern has been shown for our planet. They are more concerned that a person might have a job than the  life of our earth. As carers, our first priority should be this planet, for if the planet cannot provide for us any longer, then all living things cannot exist. Poof! Gone. What happens then? Wait another 500 billion years for the precise molecules to come together at precisely the right time, in precisely the right place, under precisely the right conditions, and then wait another 500 billion years for this so called matter to evolve into humans. Oh, I almost forgot, just hope that this matter can also form in male and female in order to reproduce.

One other thing I would like you to consider in relation to the existence of a Creator. In the reproduction of all mammals and humans at ejaculating, there is a feeling of ecstasy experienced during orgasm that encourages ongoing reproduction. This feeling is critical to the balance of the world; take it away and you virtually kill off 99 percent of life, making this place a lonely planet indeed. If this feeling was not present, there would be no sex happening which is required to reproduce. This is a fact my friends. Now, not only is this same feeling present with all races of mankind, but also in the many thousands of animal kind. Think hard about this one; what are the chances of this same feeling manifesting in all species of life?  I don't think there is enough zero's in a computer to put a figure on this happening by evolution. Only by intervention could this occur through a Creator. Not the slightest doubt in my mind at least.

The whole point of life is to strengthen your awareness of God. How do you know if you're really aware of God? Through trust. If you are, then you are willing to walk the tightrope so to speak, or jump into your father's arms. (copied from another web site I can't remember)

In brief; the meaning of life is for us to have the ground to grow spiritually. A spirit alone cannot grow without testing, and to be tested we need a body.  Think of it this way... can a spirit alone eat, steal, indulge, kill, have sex? Of course not, any dip stick knows that, so how can the spirit be trusted then by God? It can't untill it has been tested as steel is tested in fire. In short...this life is boot camp. It's all up to you to rise up.
