Why the world dont want God

Although we are created in the image of God the father, He still gave us freedom of choice, that if we chose goodness before evil, we could have hope of being part of the new place He has prepared for us, heaven, or paradises as some call it. Now this place will be a perfect place with no impurities that can infect others, like Satan infected other angels, so it will be a new heaven in fact. God knew that no man could be perfect on his own and so that is why He sent His only begotten son Jesus, that we might be washed clean of our iniquity and repent from then on, and be renewed in Jesus Christ himself. Now here is the catch; REPENT! It means to be sorry or apologize, which means you should not want to continue in these sins anymore in order to please God, and this is why we don’t really want to come to God. Let me explain further.

Because of Adams sin we all have bad tendencies, although many will not, or don’t want to admit it because of their pride. Now these tendencies can include all sorts of ugly things that are pleasing to the flesh but fortunately are not pleasing to God. For instance, we might enjoy getting drunk, going out raging all the time, watching dirty movies, visiting the brothel, or sleeping around with many partners and so on. Even if one don’t believe in God, they still have it planted on their hearts that what they do is not the right way to go, but because it pleases their flesh so much, they don’t want to give it up. In other words, they know or at least sense there is a god, but because their hearts are so hardened by their sins, they prefer to go on pleasing the flesh. The problem is this; by doing this it puts a barrier between them and God, and He wont tear down that barrier unless they ask Him to by bowing to Him and confessing their sins, one on one, NOT to a man or even an angel, but only to God the father through God the son Jesus. Amen! In other words, God gets in the way of their joy of iniquity, and it would mean giving up these joys of the flesh if they worshiped their creator, and that’s something almost all people are not prepared to do, even to the grave. It’s so sad that even in old age, when one would think wisdom prevailed, few turn to God. There is a good reason for this that I will discuss at a later date.

It has always amazed me that in these modern times of learning and knowledge, how we have gone so far backwards in the understanding of God. Present man has put himself above the understanding of God by taking on the role of father to the world. All these do-gooders preaching: like don’t smack your child as it can be damaging to their minds and affect them in later years, or have as much sex as you can with as many partners as you can, while you can, because it is healthy, or if it feels good then do It, and on and on and on it goes. Psychologists and psychiatrists and lawyers play a major role in this by trying to play god, allowing almost all iniquity and crime be justified one way if not the other, and man is just so blind in allowing this to happen. It is rubbing off on society in general and families are breeding a bunch of monsters that will show no mercy because they have never been taught discipline themselves. Don’t blame the next generation for the way they turn out, but blame this generation of politicians, lawyers, impostor gods, and all the so called do-gooders who cant see past there own attention span. Albert Einstein once said we should take care not to make the intellect our god, it has powerful muscles, but no personality. I mean are our leaders there to lead, or play the fool? Sheesh, they get enough pay and perks to give at least some value for our hard-earned tax dollar, and lay down some decent rules that can overcome all these ridiculous justifications that lead to destruction. It is the way of the world these days that is widening the barrier between man and God, and making it ever so hard for us to see the truth in Gods way that leads to life instead of destruction, especially when these evil ways are now regarded as normal. The possibility of paedophilia being accepted as normal may not be such a preposterous statement in the scheme of things. Think about it, would we have ever made homosexuality an acceptable lifestyle 50 years ago, of public nude beaches, or even allowing criminals to be able to sue their victims? No way, you would have been thrown to the lions for less than even suggesting that, and that is why man has entrenched themselves in the joy of these evils so much, they wont/cant drag themselves away from it to see the truth and justice of God. A justice that allows everything on earth to survive in harmony, and a truth that opens ones eyes, hearts and minds to the very reality and way of God, and a way that if obeyed, leads to life eternal according to Gods promise.

All the above reasons could probably fit into the truth category, as it is the truth that frightens most people away, because they know if they have to live in the truth, then they have to abide in it also, and this they are not prepared to do because of the above reasons mentioned. (It interferes with they love of the flesh) There are so many reasons why man refuses to acknowledge God as the creator, and it is a subject that could go on forever, but we might just pursue a few that stand out to me like pride for instance. Pride is a devil of a trait that is the cause of so much heartache in the world today, but none greater a heartache than the fence it erects in front of a person. Not only does it prevent others getting close to you, but also mostly it prevents God from revealing Himself. To admit that God is who He is, is to admit that you aren’t all you are cranked up to be. Its admitting you need Gods help in your life, and this can be a dent in your armour, at least to others if not yourself, and this could lower your self esteem and humble you. Oh dear, we couldn’t have that could we. What would others think? I am such a wholesome person before the community and friends, intelligent, admired and even adored for my skin deep self-righteous manor in which I am esteemed. If I turn to God they will think I’m a nut case. They love me the way I am, so I am happy to remain the way I am, just cruising along lapping up the glory for myself. In short, your pride is telling you that you are too good for God. Well remember then; what comes around goes around, so if God is not good enough now, He wont be at the gate either. GAL 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Another reason people refusing God is because they are scared of Him. Not the fear that brings forth righteousness, for that is a fear we all indeed should have, but a fear that is directly related to their sinful life they live, and I’m not pointing the finger here because we all sin to some extent (even the one pushing these typing keys, hee hee). You see, a person who knows what they are (and believe me, some don’t), knows they are not squeaky clean inside, and because of this they can see God as an ugly and angry old man/god, with a huge whip in his hand ready to beat the daylights out of them should He get a hold of them. This is a normal reaction because of their iniquity, you know, like the child that hides when he has done something bad, or like the dog that cringes and wont come to you because he has emptied out the garbage bag all over the front lawn. Because they know they are guilty, they will not see you as the loving mom or dad or master that they know you to be, but a fire breathing dragon ready to devour them, if only you could get close enough to them. And, unfortunately some people see God the same way, but what they don’t realise is that God loves them, and only wants to discipline them in order for them to have a clean and therefore healthy life. In other words, He wants the best for them. Now isn’t that a loving and merciful God caring for us? Wow, imagine if the devil was our eternal god; what a nightmare that would be. So to those people I say, “All the bad or evil things you have ever done, no matter how disgusting they may be, God will wash them ALL away and completely and forget they ever existed, unconditionally, providing you will acknowledge and believe on the one who died that you may live, the now living God, Jesus Christ the son, who now has all authority and will soon come to rule and reign forever. Amen!

Mans love of money is another reason for not wanting to include God in their lives. Most people know that a requirement of Christians is to tithe and that don’t sit to well with them as they tend to treasure every penny they own. Now don’t get off your bike reader, I did say “most”, not “all”, but you of course are not like that are you, cause you give five bucks every now and then to the Salvo’s when they pass by with the donation tin, so rest easy mate, God loves you. As a general rule it seems, the more money you have, the less you want to part with, and this is a real bee in my bonnet because just think, if all the rich gave just 1% to the needy, would there be any needy? This is of course if the money does indeed get to them. Getting back to the point here, it’s the fact that people who have more than what they need feel they don’t need God, and this is a huge mistake, they actually need Him more than others do. Think about it! How many rich people do you see smiling, laughing, content, at peace, happy and relaxed? Not many friends. They are anxious, nervous, restless, and always looking over their shoulder in fear of someone ripping them off a few pennies. The only time they get to be relaxed and spurn a smile is when they are tanked or stoned, and that is a false happiness. Sometimes I really believe these type of people think that they are going to live forever in the flesh, and are just too plain stubborn to realize they ARE going to die sooner or later, and that green stuff just isn’t going with you regardless of where you are going. MAT 6:20 {But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:}

MAT 19:23 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, {Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.}

You know, one of the saddest things I know is of a rich man here in Australia who gave away millions (about half his money) to the needy. He said he has all he needs and don’t need it, so he sold his business which still operates under his trading name, and took off. Wow you ask, why am I so sad? It’s because he hasn’t come to the Lord yet, and I feel he would be one of the best examples of a true Christian if he did, and yet he is not a believer. As a non-Christian, he seems to be more of a Christian than most Christians. Isn’t that sad? I have studied this man for a long time now and have come to the conclusion he is not typical of the run of the mill rich man, but an honest and caring person, with much intelligence and wisdom to offer Gods people, but as yet has not answered the call, and time is running out for him in his later years. I just feel he is such a waste. It’s like seeing an extremely talented and gifted person rotting away in the pub if you get my drift. This man, if he accepted the call of God could be one of the worlds best advocates of Gods truth, as he has a great foundation for God to build on, and could be used in a very special way because of his generosity, honesty, wisdom, and his general perception of live itself. (Name withheld for obvious reasons) Money, or the love of it, is indeed the root of all evil I have discovered, so much so that I have prayed to my God not to let me become rich, and HaShem has delivered. He has given me exactly what I need, no more and no less, which gives me total peace and comfort knowing I can absolutely trust in Him to always meet my needs (not my wants), that I might not be anxious or restless. To always provide the essence of life, and not the dregs that can hinder ones seeking of the truth, and even thwart the road to a successful life and hereafter. Thank you, to the only true wise God, that he is surely a God of righteousness and justice, and cares so much for those that have unshakable faith in Him and His ways. To the only wise God our saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power forever. Amen!

Some people are just too busy to find time for God, to even begin to appreciate what He has in store for them if they were to worship Him. You know, business, making money, building their dream home, family, and just generally having fun. This can even be a problem with practicing Christians also, whereby they become lukewarm and are not fully dedicated to their faith. They say: “Oh, when I finished this or finished that, or after I get my qualifications etc, I will think about getting serious with God”. This will never end, when one obsession has ended, another will begin, and so on it goes till finally they realise time has beaten them. Well it’s very simple folks, if you haven’t the time for your almighty creator, I’m very sorry for you, sincerely, because He won’t have time for you either, and that really saddens me no end. Busy or not, we all have the same opportunity to believe in and worship our creator God, and if we are sincere in our faith, Jesus will always be close by, but insincerity will not be tolerated by God, He will not be interested in skin deep or lukewarm faith. REV 3:16 {so then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.}

And yet again, many are mislead or born into religion that worship false gods, and I wont list them for fear of reprisals, but the reader should have inkling to my reference here. There is only one true wise God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the same God that gave all authority to His dear son Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the redeemer and saviour. This same God said: EXO 34:14 for thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name [is]

Jealous, [is] a jealous God. This is a clear and simple message to worship only the true God. Worship others and be cursed for three and four generations as He said: EXO 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me. So you can see God don’t take kindly to those who give credit to other fake gods for the things that He does for them. Ok, here is a scenario that might explain a little better. You go out and spend a lot of money on a present for your wife and after receiving it she is all excited, but instead of thanking you for it, she thanks her boyfriend instead. First of all you are sad that she is unfaithful to you, but anger within swells like a mighty raging sea as it is revealed she is giving the credit of the present to another man. Can you see now why God feels upset when people give thanks to another god for what He has in fact given them? The creator made them, feeds them, clothes them, blesses them, comforts them, and gives them a world of pleasures, and they turn and thank false gods, so they deserve the suffering they and their generations get. End of story! But, there is hope for the generations, if they turn from their false gods, their murderous and deceitful ways, and ask Jesus, the one given all authority by the Father God in heaven, to come into their lives and guide them in the truth, then they too can have what only the true wise God has to offer; eternal life under Jesus Christ. Eternal peace!

This brings us to probably the most dangerous reason for ignoring our creator God, and that is, blaming God for his or her own downfall, suffering or misfortune. As a well known participator in Christian chat on the internet, I get to meet many people who come to me in their suffering, whether it be self inflicted as a non believer, or struggles due to weakness of faith as a believer, for answers and/or console. In answering them I always begin with the name Jesus, and just sit back and listen to all the weak reasons they have for not wanting to believe in God, or wanting to commit suicide. Sometimes its just so repetitive, same old thing: “why did God allow this to happen to me”. It’s always the same old story. Not for one minute do they want to admit they had something to do with it, like a bad decision that they think warrants no responsibility on their part, or with Christians it might be backsliding or insincere faith that is the cause. Oh no, its always Gods fault; “why did He take away my baby”, or “ what did I do to deserve this calamity”. When this happens God will not have bar of it, if you want to blame Him for what He hasn’t done, well just go ahead and see what happens. He will let you go right on making a fool of yourself, and let you suffer the consequences of your dim-witted conclusions. ALL should know that there is God, Satan, and YOU in every situation and decision, and to blame God or Satan for everything that goes wrong in your life, without taking into account that you play a part also, is an utterly irresponsible notion, deserving harsh action indeed. Satan gets far too much credit as it is, and Gods name is love, not hate or confusion. If for some reason you have been innocently treated or abused, then God will come to your aid if you are patient and trusting, but NEVER NEVER, blame God. At some time or other, we all are going to be held accountable to our Father in heaven, every good and bad thing we have ever done is written down in His book of life, and will have to explain it away if it has not been forgiven, so I suggest if you have blamed God for whatever thing bad, bow your knees right now and beg forgiveness. No need to use big words or long drawn out fake prayers, just be sincere from the heart, and He will absolutely forgive you, and you will then see things in a different light. I promise you.
