Ballajura is a beautiful
suburb of Perth
City, 12 km from the
centre of the city. It has all
the convenience of everyday life, yet surrounded by picturesque lakes and
migrating wildlife. There are
several supermarkets, petrol stations, a hairdressing salon, bakeries,
Chinese takeaways and newsagents within the estate. Within 1 minute drive,
you can find a medical centre and a pharmacy. Within 5 minutes drive, you
can find the Ballajura Shopping Mall with a Chinese Restaurant and a fast
food outlet (Red Rooster), and the lakes. McDonalds Restaurant, Asian and
European restaurants are also within the vicinity.

The Emu Lake
at the Ballajura Lakes Estate is full of wild life. Watch the wild birds,
ducks and Pelicans, cultured garden beds and wild flowers as you take a
relaxing stroll along the beautiful lakeshore. Entrance to Emu Lake
is at Lakeshore Close, turn left at the T-junction then walk down the path
beside the large park along the lake shore. Nice place for eco tourism.

temperature 18 degrees) Spring - Sep, Oct, Nov (average temperature 22
degrees) Summer - Dec, Jan, Feb (average temperature 30 degrees) Autumn -
Mar, Apr, May (average temperature 24 degrees). Strong coastal winds at times.
