After our 2004 trip we decided to create our own little piece of Bali in our backyard.
We constructed the bale in May 2004 and extended garden beds around it using plants that would survive Melbourne winters.
I had brought back temple parasols in 2003, and a few more in 2004 as well as flags.
In December 2004 we bought the latest addition, our Balinese warrior.
