Australasian Fleadh 2003
What is the Fleadh?
"Fleadh" is the Gaelic word for festivals of traditional music which are held throughout Ireland enabling traditional musicians to gather and participate in sessions, workshops, concerts and competitions. The competition is an extremely important part of the Fleadh as it promotes high standards of musicianship. Perth Comhaltas is seeking to attract musicians and dancers from all of Australia, New Zealand and Asia to participate in open competition with their peers.
