A list of books, kits and other resources for incorporating forensic science in the curriculum.

Forensic Science is the title of a video which is available from the National Institute of Forensic Science at a cost of $40. It uses a homicide scenario to explain the different disciplines in forensic science and what is involved in each.

The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council in Britain has developed a forensic crime scene exercise called  There's No Place To Hide. It combines theatre, group work in laboratory analysis and interpretation, so that student teams compete to solve the murder mystery. At present, this program is unavailable for export, but it may stimulate some interesting ideas.

CyberSleuths

Jenk Akyalcin and Lousie Ruzic developed this award winning online project in 1998 to promote problem solving skills within a forensic science context. In order to participate, schools must register with the organising school, Kilvington Girls' Grammar. There is a limit of 12 participating schools per semester.
