DONTATE AN ITEM | TUXEDO JUNCTION AUCTION
NICHOLAS DATTNER DONATES LAST AVAILABLE TABLE
Furniture designer Nicholas Dattner has donated the spectacular "Murray River Table" (pictured below) to the
Tuxedo Junction auction.

The Murray River Table
Inspired by the mighty and now imperilled Murray River, the table features three timbers. The center panel, representing
the river, is made from Birdseye Yellow Stringybark, whilst the the panels of Jarrah on either side are symbollic of
the
red sandy soils of our arid interior. Trimming the arched side rails is a bead of 7500 year old Redgum that has gone
pitch black
with age.
Only two of these tables have ever been made. The other sold in Sydney for $17,000. With the closure of Nicholas Dattner and Co., we expect that this one
is worth a great deal more.
