Tuxedo Junction – Raising Funds for Cancer Research
This is an invitation to sponsor Tuxedo Junction, a charity ball in aid of
The Cancer Council Victoria, who provides the much needed funding for research into treatments and possible cure for Cancer. The Cancer Council Victoria supports research in Victorian universities, hospitals and medical research institutes through the award of research grants. Funds for these grants are raised through events such as TUXEDO JUNCTION.
What’s so great about Tuxedo Junction?
Research programs and our Board
Mr David Speakman is a highly regarded oncologist and is responsible for directing funds raised at Tuxedo Junction into programs which will make a difference immediately. Funds raised are transferred to The Cancer Council Victoria within 35 days of the event.
“In a few short years there will be patients being treated more efficiently and surviving longer because of programs supported by The Cancer Council and Tuxedo Junction events”

Entertaining, Rewarding and Aligning Social Values
Supporting Tuxedo Junction gives you the opportunity to entertain guests and reward staff in line with your company’s social values. Tuxedo Junction is a high quality fun event that is produced by volunteers eliminating the need to produce events ‘in house’ which align perfectly with your marketing and corporate identity.
“Tuxedo Junction is the best fun you can have with your tuxedo on!”

Naming Rights
The Tuxedo Junction Advisory Board believes that having the opportunity to name a grant without raising or donating the grant monies themselves is a wonderful opportunity for any business.
“The Tuxedo Junction Grant 2007 and The Seeley Gratitude Grant have made significant contributions towards a research program and patient support services for people with advanced cancer. The Cancer Council would like to acknowledge
the effort put in by Kate Bonser and the Tuxedo Junction Advisory Board and we are sincerely grateful for the $75,000 donation.”
