Family History Research
My friend Ann Denis is researching her family history. Ann would like to hear from relatives, friends,
or anyone who remembers Kevin Richard Jordan, to help fill in the missing details of his life story.
Kevin Richard Jordan was born in Carlton, Victoria, Australia, on the 8th of February 1925.
So far Ann's Research has found;
A baker by trade, Kevin became a Navy Cook, and served in many ships and Shore Depots..
We recently found a group photo of navy cooks at the "Australian War Memorial" web site.
A stroke of good luck as Kevin Jordan just happened to be in that photograph (see photos below).
In 1952 Kevin Jordan married Thelma May Hamilton at Paddington, New South Wales, Australia.
Kevin Jordan left the navy on the 18th August 1958.
Thelma May Jordan passed away in 1969 in the Singleton Area of New South Wales.
Kevin Richard Jordan passed away in Victoria in 1989.
On his 1989 death notice in Melbourne's Sun Newspaper, Kevin Jordans wife is listed as Eleanor
and Kevin Jordan is listed as the brother of Peg, Jack, Arthur (dec.) Fred and Carmel.
