Acknowledgements A valuable source of research, concerning the ship's location and the dates when these events took place, was the Department Of Defense publication titled "NAVY IN VIETNAM". It was published in 1980 by the Australian Government Publishing Service.  The very detailed description of H.M.A.S. Hobart's 1st Deployment starts on page 35 of that publication.
