Safety at Customer’s site
At Baron Fibreglass we follow the safe working directions at our customers premises.
Typically the first step is to undertake a site safety induction, be it general, job specific or both.
In most cases, formal Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analysis is prepared. This assists in ensuring that all work carried out at our customers premises is completed safely. We keep our customer representative informed of our work progress as well as any issues that may arise during the course of work.
Hazard identification and elimination are the corner stone of a safe work environment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) becomes an important but secondary line of defence.
The Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the chemicals we carry are always available with the personnel attending the customer’s site.
Should there be a need to access a confined space, our personnel are trained in the safe entry of confined spaces.
We do take safety seriously. If our customers find anything lacking we are Baron would like to know, so that we can improve.
