Woy Woy Tap Water .... it's the shit !
So I got up early as usual and had my shower , then went to pour a glass of water from the tap and as often it was dirty , a product of the local councils effort to clean the water pipes in the area , tho this happens regularly the council insists that it will only take a "few years " until it stops once all the work is done. Today I read that some Government Departments will stop getting bottled water because " our tap water is perfectly fine " , yes  thats true Mr politician but come to Woy Woy and bring a frikkin spoon so you can taste the soup we get at 7 a.m in the morning !
I think Gosford Council should be supplying bottled water to all affected households for when the water is "slightly off coloured " - my arse ! look at the pics ! *angry*
Now I know what my friend Lara Croft from Adelaide has to live with hehe !

Woy Woy High Class of 81 Reunion Website
Hi to anyone surfing in who went to our reunion at Woy Woy Bowlo last weekend , what a top night it was - so many old faces and all smiling.

Jap hunting season
Within the next week a fleet of Jap whaling ships followed by a mother processing ship will descend on the Southern Whale Sanctuary and begin to slaughter 1000 whales , this year they will also target the humpback whales that swim past OUR Central Coast migrating north.
This is in strict violation of International Law and is turned a blind eye to by the nearest governing body - Australia , thankfully groups like Seashepherd will once again take on these vicious assholes head on in the open seas , Seashepherd are the police and the Japs are now the criminals , this is no protest - Seashepherd has sunk many a ship being involved in environmental vandalism and will actively engage the Japanese whalers again , please visit the site below to learn more and do what you can to help ..... before we have nothing left at all.

I've decided to make 2 sites woy-woy.com will be more links orientated and this one will be more bloggish and house some more of my undiscovered talents , weird crap and local stuff but for now it will be all housed under one roof til I get round to making all the pages .......

Welcome to the worlds slowest blog ha ! .... well it's a Woy Woy locals blog what did you expect , I have a life and don't sit on my pc all day ;)
I'm half temtpted to go full on and make the front page my blog area - will I ? does anyone read this ? leave a post in the forum if you would like to see some more action on this site or are just happy clicking the links and staring like 25 people per day for the last 3 years have ! I've found most locals aren't really into the net and like outdoor stuff , sure I've found a ton of locals at Myspace but feel kinda weird adding local teenagers ( I'm 41 dammit ! ) to mine in a vain attempt at getting some kind of local group online thing happening.
The only other sort of contact I get here is from those interested in the Woy Woy Files and the Egyptian carvings , so much so that I've thought of running monthly treks to the site in question - interested ? leave a post in the forum , other than that I'm the towns' unofficial tourist info service online and have directed many people to local sites and services over the years - all for free and cos I'm a good bloke and love my town.

Ever seen this guy on the footy show Mick Meredith - www.mick.com.au  ? I went to tech with him in the 80's we were both painters and headbangers and hung out for years , I still keep in touch with him and should catch up soon a one of his shows - go see him he's a funny bastard !
