Jim Mundell (jmundell@trivirix.com)

Jim joined TriVirix in June of 2001 as Vice President of Operations.  He is responsible for all manufacturing, materials, and quality activities throughout the company.  He brings to the company over 23 years of executive experience in managing rapid growth in technology companies.  He has an extensive background in the marketing, sales, design, and manufacturing of semiconductors, thick film and thin film microelectronics, and electronic subsystems and systems in the U.S. and on an international level for both the commercial and medical markets.

Jim most recently served as Vice President & GM for Volumetrics Medical Imaging, Inc. and previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Circuit Board Assemblers, Inc.  He has also held the position of Vice President & GM with SCI Systems, Inc., a leading contract manufacturing services company, where he where he profitably managed over 600 people and grew revenues from $50 million to $150 million in over 2 years.

Prior to that Jim was Vice President of the Mixed Signal ASIC business for Harris Corporation’s Semiconductor Sector and held a similar position with General Electric prior to the merging of the two companies semiconductor operations.  The first 10 years of Jim’s career were spent at CTS Corporation’s Microelectronic Division where he held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, sales, program management, manufacturing and operations.  As Vice President of Operations at CTS, Jim lead the engineering, manufacturing and quality activities of 300 people producing the world’s first & smallest demand heart pacemakers for Cordis and Intermedics as well as other custom microelectronic products.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and his MBA from with distinguished honors from Purdue University.
