African Drumming Class in Melbourne

One of Australia's most acclaimed performing and recording artists, Ray Pereira. offers regular African Drumming classes in Melbourne in Fitzroy, Footscray and Brunswick.

African drumming classes are available to suit beginners and experienced players. Ray will teach you how to hear and play inspiring rhythms on djembe, kpanlogo, dun dun, conga drums and a variety of percussion instruments.

As a freelance percussionist who works with some of Australia's finest musicians, Ray combines his experience as a performer with his deep understanding of traditional and contemporary music to give his drumming classes a unique perspective and delivery.

Beginner classes are back at the start of February. Please email now and register to reserve your spot as classes fill up fast.
