FACILITIES

Castle Country Kennels offers comfortable accommodation for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Our range of pens ensure dogs staying with us are matched to their living quarters. Our standard pens provide individual dogs with an internal sleeping area approximately 2.4m long x 1.2m wide and an outdoor area of the same size. Dogs can then choose either to snooze indoors on the comfortable trampoline beds or laze in the sun (or rain).

We have larger pens for larger pets and a number of smaller pens with carpeted floors to indulge the smaller pets who may be use to an indoor life.

Our home, which is a practicable distance from the main kennel building has further pens which are used for our ‘out of hours’ drop off and pick up service. These pens are also used for pets which may need extra TLC (due to age or special requirements). These pens also enable us to provide services to a greater number of pet owners during the peak busy times.

Our capacity is regularly ‘stretched’ especially during holiday periods and early bookings are essential to ensure your pet has a great holiday and you can enjoy complete peace of mind.

REGULAR STAY

A stay with us includes:

• All Meals. We feed premium quality dry dog biscuit which is supplemented with a cooked beef and pasta product. Special diets and feeding regimes can be catered for upon request when booking.

• Play Time. Our property is 7 acres in size and includes flat pasture for long runs and a dam for swimming (weather permitting). All dogs enjoy their walks and the obedient ones get to run free.

Those that may not ‘come back’ still get plenty of exercise; however they remain on a 5 meter lead.

OTHER SERVICES

• A Pickup and Delivery service is available.
• Out of hours drop off and pick up service
• Pets from the same home are able to share a pen.
• Hydrobath and basic grooming (clipping upon request with contractor)
• Doggy Day care: This service is especially for busy people who feel their dog may need some extra attention. We will collect your dog from home and then the pampering begins. Your pet will receive a hearty breakfast, a refreshing hydrobath, time to ‘yap’ with other dogs, time to nap and then be returned home.
• Portable Pens made to order. These are a flat pack bolt together pen which is excellent value for money and can be made to any size or shape.
• Basic puppy socialization and training is available upon request
• Have a cat that needs boarding? Owners can leave their cat with us when they drop off their dog and we will deliver the cat to the Viewbank Cattery for boarding and arrange it return in time for you collection. A small transportation fee is involved.
