Custom Work

Moreton Bay Model Railways can also provide you fully ready to run N scale models from all the available N scale manufacturers. They can be produced to your specification, including custom decal and painting if needed. If you have bought kits in the past but have not had the time to put them together, send them to me and I can assemble, paint and decal for you.

Typical assembly costs (excluding the cost of the kit itself, any custom decals, and excluding the cost of the bogies or mechanism as required) are:

• Aust-N-Rail wagons: $30 to $50 per kit
• Aust-N-Rail Passenger coaches: $50 to $75 per kit
• Aust-N-Rail locos: from $100, depending on loco and livery required and whether additional detail is needed
• Peter Borrman Workshop locos: from $100, depending on loco and livery required and whether additional detail is needed
• N-Trains wagons: $30 to $45 per kit, depending on the wagon
• Ian Lindsay coaches: $50 to $75, depending on the coach, and whether they are urethane or epoxy

Please note that availability of thse items is dependent on the manufacturer. Assuming stocks are available, I can normally deliver your order within 6 months of receiving it. Please note though that this is very much a hobby business and must come after my day job, and the demands of a young family!
