Garden of the Purple Dragon
This is my latest book and it is the sequel to Dragonkeeper.
Living in lonely seclusion on the slopes of Tai Shan, Ping is coping
with the trials of bringing up a small purple dragon. Her days are spent
searching for worms, squashing caterpillars and mopping up dragon pee.
As she watches the seasons change, it seems that this will be her life
for years to come. But her peaceful life comes to an abrupt end with
the arrival of people from her past-- friends and enemies.
An easier life beckons, but Ping doesn't know who to trust.
Will she and Kai find sanctuary in the Garden of the Purple Dragon?
Will Ping embrace her true destiny?
Reviews
"Wilkinson once again blends fantasy and history to create a rich
and absorbing portrait of Chinese life during the Han Dynasty…the
prose is as strong and sinuous as a dragon’s tail."
Leonie Jordan, Australian Bookseller and Publisher, Sept 2005
"...an unstoppable read. This is a magnificently written and captivating
story."

"Since I finished Garden Of The Purple Dragon, I have tried to
read other books but I am finding them boring ...I love your books sooooooooooooo
much, I just can't bring myself to read anything else! They are all
nothing compared to your great books."
