Everybody can paint
Carol may have been born with a brush in her hand, but dare mention that you don’t think you have the talent to paint and you’ll soon be put straight.
“People may think they can’t paint, but they can,” she says. “It’s just a matter of learning a few tricks.”
Whether it’s traditional Japanese sumi-e brush painting, watercolours or bold acrylic creations, Carol’s designs are vibrant and accessible. And varied. She’s best known for her images of country Australia and stunning underwater series inspired by the Great Barrier Reef, but she is also drawn to traditional folk art and decorative painting.
Carol is constantly on-the-go, and travels the country conducting workshops and seminars. She’s also an active member of Chroma Australia’s Teacher Support program.
She firmly believes that painting is good for the soul - and anybody
