Before whatshisname on Big Brother made stupid headbands popular there was Ben. The headband to head ratio is high in this one but don’t let that fool you, he’s not that stupid. But is he clever enough to beat sans-headband opponent Luray? You’ll have to watch to find out.

In what could possibly be our most xenophobic show yet, the might of Australia, represented by Luke, takes on some guy from Wales named Andrew. Despite the constant ribbing, Andrew takes it all in his stride. Well, he has to. He’s from Wales. Fun is had by all in an episode that is sure to entertain as much as it will enrage.

Cool calm and collected. That’s what tonight’s contestants wish they were. Try as they might, both Chris and Mark can’t maintain a poker face against the wrath of Tuffy and the weight of such a magnificent prize. Will Mark blitz his way to hotdog success? Or will Chris step up and offer some real competition? At the end of the day there can be only one victor. Or better still –two losers.

Everything goes up in smoke tonight as Hot Dog with the Lot has a funny smell in the air… and for once it isn’t Tuffy. Contest Shannon is representing Cheech and Chong in his bid to cure a scorching case of the munchies, which leaves sharp-as-a-tack opponent Jemma with a rather unfair advantage. But rest easy, everything should be smooth sailing as long as Shannon doesn’t get his bong water confused with beer.

What happens when you cross a cool-cat with a hotdog? Who knows; probably some kind of deformed mutant kitten made up of bread roll and sausage meat that can only spend its pitiful existence meowing the sound “Kill me. Kill me.”

Luckily Tuffy’s attempts at DNA cloning have so far been unsuccessful. So instead our contestants are all human tonight! We have a wonderfully cool kid named Kat (that’s with a ‘K’) playing against a cool-to-tepid man named Mark. After watching tonight’s episode one can’t help but ask, “How many bloody guys named Mark are out there?”

What the hell is it with the Mountain Goat Brewery? The crazies all seem to come out of the woodwork and tonight is no exception when Hot Dog with the Lot is blessed with the presence of alien freak Georgia. She’s also a kiwi but that’s the least of her problems as her opponent Mark (yes, another one) is a cold calculating architect who is playing to win for a horde of hungry friends. He also isn’t above playing dirty as his choice of shirt is clearly a ploy to incite mass collective brain hemorrhage. Will his evil plan work? Or will Georgia be strangely immune to his powers?   

Anglers Tavern

It’s brains against brains tonight as Anton, an Astro-Physicist takes on Andrew, a school teacher. Unfortunately Andrew seemed to have had more than his fair share of fermented milks at play lunch and may need to take a time out. Will he suck it up and pull through, or will Anton take out the trash?

The Tote

In what turns out to be a rather confronting and topical show, Trent and Annette have stepped up to the plate in a bid to try and add some class to Hot Dog with the Lot. It’s just a shame that it turns out to be a fool’s errand.

Anglers Tavern

Get set for an action packed show tonight because our contestants Jesse and Fiona are about as excited as they come! Well, actually they aren’t. Before being whisked away by out co-hosts Fiona had just polished off a plate of the Anglers special jumbo calamari and Jesse seems more focused on picking up Fiona than actually playing the game. Needless to say winning a hotdog is the last thing on their minds. The credits are fun though!

The Tote

If one word could describe tonight’s episode it would be “Ugheraugh.” With Tuffy away on a compulsory holiday (ie: prison) his cousin Rodney has taken on BBQ duty much to Erin’s… and well the crew’s, the contestants and most likely the audiences displeasure. (We shouldn’t be too rough on old Rodders; he did grow up under high voltage power lines after all.) Speaking of high voltage, the sparks are flying between our dueling contestants Franziska and Elli. Who knows, a beautiful relationship could blossom between these two –providing Elli actually lets Franziska get an answer in.

Anglers Tavern

It’s nation against nation tonight as Franco, aka the Italian Stallion takes on Jasmine, aka the Croatian… er, Croat. Get ready for some fierce competition tonight as these contestants represent their countries for sausage! What can we say, except at least the winner won’t be France.

The Tote

You know what they say, friends who play together stay together, and friends who sleep together are freakin’ freaks. We don’t know what’s going on with this group lead by Mark, a self proclaimed vegan drunken-bi Jesus whose mates inside the pub give new dimension to the term “mates.” Representing normality is his opponent Jaxx, a straight talkin’, hard rockn’ chick who would probably beat the crap out of anyone who would dare describe her as “straight talkin” or “rockn”. What can we say about this episode other than it is completely awesome? People insecure about their sexuality are advised not to watch.

Vox Pop Special - “Hair of the Dog”

Be mildly entertained as our hung-over yet dedicated co-hosts Jonathan, Tara and Rich go through some of their favorite vox-pop moments of the season. Yes it’s all there, from “dumpster girl” to “the guy whose parents watched him lose his virginity.” So sit back, relax and enjoy a drink or ten as you re-live the memories… and the horror. Oh the horror…
