A "Port Discovery" mode allows the software to find which TCP ports are being used for instant messenging traffic. Normally this option should not be changed. It is set to a default of 1863 (the standard monitoring port).
Ensure that the appropriate Network Adapter is selected before commencing recording.
Click on "Start" under Activity Recording to begin capturing chat conversations.
The figure below shows an example screen shot where chat conversations are being monitored during capture.
