                   Technical Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities

·     Remote help desk facility for break/fix support for small to medium sized companies who have outsourced all or part of their IT infrastructure.

·     Proactive management of Clients’ systems by regular performance tuning and capacity planning;

Key Achievements

ü     I provided systems advice, guidance and solutions for the improvement and upgrade of Midland Redevelopment Authority’s existing production server and network environment.   I also provided the technical support and advice for the successful roll out of the Greentree Finance software package at the site.   I provided onsite server install support and technical advice to Addax Solutions as required for successful completion of this project and implementation of this software package at the site.

ü    I assisted with the development, implementation and provided agreed solutions for deployment of an upgrade to the network and IT systems for Wiluna Aboriginal Medical Services.   I assisted with the Server installation and network system rollout and completed an audit of sites existing and upgraded IT infrastructure for amendment of client’s technical documentation at Denver Technology.

ü   I provided break fix solutions and proactive advice to the Project Manager and fellow support staff involved with a server, client and network upgrade and migration for Marine and Civil Construction.   I was intimately involved with the planning and rollout of an ISO-Quality Control and Document Management System which incorporated the setup of a web interface for Intranet access.  I was also involved with the design and structure for data security and migration of data over to the new servers.   I managed the pre & post migration checks and resettlement of the legacy hardware infrastructure.   I also proactively introduced new procedures and processes to improve cost savings and the efficiency of IT support to the users at static and deployable remote sites.
