William is
currently employed as an Technical Support Analyst with Denver Technology in West
Leederville Perth. Up until that time William was working within the Information &
Communications Technology (ICT) Support sector with the Australian Public
Service and as a contractor with the Department of Defence.
William was
also a full time serving member of the Australian Army and was
employed within the Royal Australian Signals Corps. William
was engaged as an Information Systems Manger who was intimately
involved with the planning, design, deployment and operational direction
of deployable and strategic network systems for the government
which were an integral component in providing Command and Control in
securing Australia’s domestic & global interests.
During his
service with the Department of Defence (Army) William worked autonomously
and has lead small and large teams that have operated complex strategic
and deployable networks that spanned several countries in sometime hostile and environmentally harsh locale, which has included Australian,
Middle Eastern and Asian regions.
William was discharged from
the Army on the 14 March 2004 after a career spanning 24 years within the
field of Communications and Information Systems Management. He graduated with a Graduate Diploma of Information Systems Management from
the University of New South Wales in 2001. Also during this period of service, he has
been awarded a Diploma of Information Technology (Systems Administration
ICA50199), Diploma of Business (Frontline Management BSB51001) and a
Statement of Attainment towards a Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace
Training.
Recently William completed the mandatory training and
testing for the award of ITIL Fundamentals Foundation Certificate.
