Coffee Mix

Our on the road hot drink that is really quick and easy to prepare.

We prepare a big batch that lasts us weeks and weeks.

Being cheapskates we just fill up the thermos with hot water in the morning when we usually have power to heat the water.

Ingredients:

1 x 500gm packet of cheap Coffee Whitener

1 x 300gm packet of Skim Milk Powder        

1 x 100gm tin of Coffee                                  

            1 x above coffee tin full of Sugar (370gm)                  

1/4 x above coffee tin full of Cocoa (50gm)   

Method:

Mix the whole lot up in a bowl.......!!! 

Then decant into a suitable container, we use several old plastic peanut butter jars.

We use about 3 to 4 teaspoons full for a cup or small mug and 4 to 5 teaspoons full for a mug.

It works out to to cost about 20 cents a cup.

Tips:

Use one of those tin openers that remove the whole top of the tin to open the coffee,

you then use that tin as a measure for the cocoa and sugar,

also as you don't have a lip to contend with it is really easy to pour.

It is also good for decanting the mix into the jars.
