Sarah was born c. 1821 in Bath, Somerset, England. She was tried in Bath, Somerset, on 11 Oct 1841, charged with Larceny, and sentenced to 10 years transportation. She was convicted of stealing a Gown Piece, and had been convicted of the same offences 3 times previously.
She was transported on the Emma Eugenia (1), which departed Woolwich on 24 Nov 1841 and arrived in Hobart on 8 Apr 1842.

She married convict William Luck on 19 Jun 1843 in Brighton, Tasmania, and they had 7 children before she died on 12 Jun 1888 in Kempton. She had been a widow for almost 16 years at that time.
