| Noosa: June 2005. The
DSOA Nationals were the launching point for my addiction. Just look at
those gorgeous creatures. Who could help but fall in love?
Of course, if I hadn't, my bank account would look a whole lot healthier. But some things are more important than money. Right? Right? |

| Springwood: July 2005. After drooling over every Sporty I could get my eyes on, most of which were thousands of dollars beyond my budget, I found this little baby. She was perfect in every way! Well, perfect in one way - I could afford her. And after my Technical Adviser (a.k.a. Alan) had given me the OK - meaning he let me know in no uncertain terms that if I didn't buy her he would - she was mine! | |
| Arana Hills: July 2005. Sorry, no photos of the back of the truck. My ever-reliable digital camera chose that moment to declare that its batteries were flat, and do you think I could find any AA's at 7am? But she has a very close to original dash, with the addition of a few knobs and levers from my Technical Adviser's personal collection of Stuff Under The Stairs. In fact, the only thing I don't have is an original dash-mounted mirror. Anyone?? | |
| OK, so the interior needs work. A LOT of work. But it's doable. Or so they all keep telling me... | |
| The engine is sweet. Might have to do something about that aqua colour on the tappet cover - wonder who thought that was a good idea? Some shining and polishing, and a new original air filter courtesy of my friendly technical adviser, and she'll be gorgeous. Oh, and speaking of shiny things... | |
