Llewellyn, who was born in N.S.W. left Sydney in about 1900. He rode his bicycle from there to Melbourne, where he boarded a ship to Esperance in W.A. From there, he rode his bicycle to Norseman, where he worked on the goldfields. Prior to purchasing the farming property at Baldivis in W.A. where he lived out his life, Llewellyn leased a farm and established an accountancy and auctioneering business, as well as a green grocery business in Narrogin, W.A.

ELI was born in the village of Willingham where generations of his family had lived since 1534. He was brought up to follow his father and uncles in their boot and shoemaking business in British Terrace in Willingham.  at the age of 24, Eli enlisted in the Royal Navy for a term of 12 years, re-enlisting on the 28 September 1907 “To complete time for pension”  (see my Rollcall of Honour page for further details

Peter's Great Aunty's in the first photograph, taken in 1919, are from left to right (front row) Marian Augusta (Daisy), Emily Ker (emmie) and Cecile (Pat). In the back row,  Kathleen Louisa is on the left and Edith Christina (Duckie) is on the right. The missing sister is Peter's grandmother, Dorinda Frances, who appears at centre in the  second photograph. On her right is Aunty Em and on her left is Pat. In the back row from left to right are  Daisy, Kathleen and Duckie.
