March 21, 2009 - April 20, 2010 With the planet of expansion and opportunity working hard for the benefit of your social life this is an excellent time to get out there an mingle! This energy will be around until the middle of January 2010 and supports many different areas of your life, including the opportunity to make new friends, join groups where you share similar interests, and generally enjoy the company of other people. This energy is also an excellent one for improving the relationship you have with the children of other people, whether these are just the friends of your children, or the children of your friends! You may also have the chance to improve your relationship with a son or daughter-in-law. There are several periods of time when boundaries will be important when dealing with these people and areas of your life: the periods from mid May until the end of July 2009, and again during the second half of December 2009 are both periods when it is important to keep your involvement with others and groups at a realistic level and not to expect too much. It may be easy to go too far with situations during these times… too much of a good thing can be bad for you! Your health is likely to continue to need attention – at least until the end of October 2009. It is important to listen to your body and not push yourself further than is good for your general well-being – especially during September when nerve problems or issues involving your bones, teeth and/or skin are likely to flare up suddenly. This period of time in September is an important one for reassessing your priorities in terms of your daily responsibilities and routine. You may need to change the way you do things during this time. It seems that you will be trying to balance the old and the new in some way during this month. This focus on your health has been around since the end of 2007, but for some of you this energy may have been experienced as a total change to your daily routine due to changes to your working or study hours or routine. Alternatively, there may have been another major life change that has meant that you have faced more responsibility than usual, and the need to change your daily habits since the end of 2007. Again, for you this focus will ease off towards the end of October 20009. For all of these matters perhaps the best time for attending to them would be during the first week of October 2009, when indications suggest that through the support of another person or group, that previous obstacles and difficulties will be able to be worked through much easier than usual during this time. The support of loved ones and/or your children may also be helpful during this time. A shift in energy late in October 2009 begins an important new phase in your life that will be around for about 2 1/2years. It brings a focus on how you interact with others, particularly your marriage or business partner. The energies around you during this time suggest that situations and people that gain prominence may have some relevance to matters that were important to you about 14 years ago: it seems that now have the opportunity to view them with clarity and objective understanding. During the next couple of years it also looks like you will know whether these matters have reached a successful conclusion, or whether you need to cut your losses and move on. This energy is not a light-hearted one, however, it is important in clearing out outgrown situations and people in your life that are weighing you down. Symbolically, it can be seen as a bit of spring-cleaning period in your life where quality, not quantity in terms of the people in your life, will be important. There will be several periods of time when this energy is likely to become very challenging: the period from early November until early December 2009; and again from early January until mid February 2010 also looks like a time that will mean changing the way you relate to someone important in your life. These periods of time are likely to be quite intense, but will give you the chance to really think about what is important in terms of your life goals, career aspirations and, for some of you, the chance to change the way you relate or see one of your parents. This is likely to be a dynamic time when major cross-roads will be reached, enabling you to leave the past behind you and to move forwards on a new path that is free of people and situations holding you back. To achieve this though, you will need to deal with the people and situations that have a hold on you and to let go of outworn associations. Another shift in energy late in August 2009 is part of a 19 year cycle, so think back about 19 years ago when you think of the themes I am about to mention. The energies around you for the next year or so suggest that there will be a fated quality to the people and situations entering/leaving your life… particularly around the time of the eclipses in July 2009 and January 2010. And last but not least, Jupiter will be changing signs on January 18, 2010 meaning that the way you experience luck, opportunities and growth will shift gear. It seems that luck will come to you through past good deeds being returned to you (good karma!), and that your best approach is a laid back one where you will need to watch for subtle signs or signals in order to watch for opportunities. Perhaps another good way of using the energy around you from this time onwards will be to research your options for a fabulous new start coming to you early in 2011… this may be plans for a new business idea, long-distance travel, teaching or learning, or perhaps a major move. Whatever it is that you are thinking about, the coming year is an excellent one to lay the groundwork for this positive new start coming for you in 2011.
