Continuing on from last year, it seems that a bit of elbow grease will still need to be applied to your everyday life… adjustments that you have been making in regards to changed conditions at work, school or home since late 2007 will still need to be balanced carefully until the end of October. For example, some of you may have changed jobs, working hours or made changes at home like welcoming a new child or making a major move. Energies around you during the first half of October look great for stabilizing these matters and for improving the relationship you share with someone you look up to such as a parent or boss. Energies around you from the end of January until the middle of February, and again in September suggest that these dates will be pivotal in finding a way to still fulfill your duties and responsibilities, but in a way that allows freedom and flexibility. The need to break free during these times is likely to be quite strong. If you are neglecting yourself, these periods of time are likely to be ones where your health will need attention. A shift in energy early in January suggests that the coming year will be one where you will see the results of the changes that you made to your life (particularly at work) in 2008. Generally speaking, you can also expect that your involvement with friends, a group, or the child of another person will bring opportunity and happiness.
Hold onto your hat Taurus! Life looks like it will be operating at warp speed this year because of your commitments outside of the home – particularly at work. The coming year looks to be one full of opportunities within your career with the energies around you strongly suggesting that this is THE year to take a risk in order to improve your future prospects. However, the periods from the middle of May until the end of July, and again during the second half of December are ones where you will need to show restraint and caution before making any major changes or decisions relating to your career, one of your parents and/or you life direction in general. Possibly one of the best dates of the year for promoting yourself, and for professional networking would be around the middle of February. This period of time is an excellent one for dealing with any type of authority figure such as a current or potential boss, government agency or parent. Love of all sorts has been a tough area for you since the end of 2007. This trend is set to continue until the end of October when the work you have been putting into the relationship you share with loved ones, particularly one of your children or a lover, should begin to show results. Major breakthroughs and a better understanding of not only what your needs are, but also of your loved ones are indicated from the end of January until the middle of February, and again during most of September.
Since the end of 2007 there has been a focus on your domestic and family life that, for many of you, has meant working hard in these areas of your life in order to stabilize them and also to prepare a solid foundation for the future. If you moved it is likely that the home you are now living in is smaller or older than your previous home, or that it needs renovation. These themes continue to be prominent until the end of October this year. Although these energies suggest that it is important to put in solid foundations and structures in your private life, they are suggest that in order to make the most of the resources available to you that it is important to remain open and flexible to suggestions from others. This is especially important from the end of January until the middle of February and again during September. Unexpected developments at work or involving an authority figure or parent are likely to be part of the reason that you will have to be flexible. Long distance travel, education and foreign people/places look to be lucky and happy areas for you throughout 2009. This is an excellent year to travel, begin studying (or teaching) and for connecting with others that live a long distance from you. Those of you involved in legal matters should also find that situations tend to swing in your favour. However, there are times when you will need to show caution with these matters and take off your rose-coloured glasses when dealing with them: the periods from the middle of May until the end of July and again during the second half of December are times when you will need to show caution when handling these areas of your life.
For quite some time now there has been a heavier focus on your thinking than usual, perhaps making it easier to look at your glass being ‘half-empty’, rather than ‘half-full’. Although this energy continues to be working in your life until the end of October, it seems that developments during the first half of February and again during September will help you look at life in a totally different way. The energies operating during this time suggest that your involvement with a sibling, your community and/or an in-law will help you to look at life differently and break out of the rut you are in. Early in January there is a shift in energy that will be in effect for all of 2009 and will flow into 2010 as well. This energy suggests that you will have the opportunity to benefit through your ties with others… particularly in a financial sense. Other ways you are likely to benefit from this energy is through deepening your intimate bonds with loved ones, gaining a better and happier understanding of your psychological makeup and through gaining finance easier than usual. If you needed to apply for a loan then this is the year to do it. However, there are certain times where you will need to show caution in all of these areas. It is important from the middle of May until the end of July, and again during the second half of December to look at your situation realistically and to not put people on a pedestal. It is also important to keep your financial expectations realistic during this time and to not overextend yourself (or your partner) through taking on too much debt.
Early this year in January there is an eclipse that holds special significance for you Leo… especially for those of you born on the days around July 29. The energy around this eclipse suggests that the months around January are likely to be ones where a development (or serious of developments) is likely to illuminate a relationship situation for your, making it easier to understand where you stand. This could be any type of relationship, but a marriage or business partnership is especially accented at that time. A shift in energy early in the year also highlights relationships… this energy will be around throughout 2009. It suggests that the ties you make with other people will be mutually beneficial and that you will have the chance to broaden your horizons, possibly through travel and getting involved in the educational fields. However, there are some exceptions to this positive energy. From the middle of May until the end of July, and again during the second half of December the energies around you suggest that you will need to restrain yourself from going too far or expecting too much from those around you. It may also be helpful to remove your rose-coloured glasses! Finances and other resources look as though they have been tighter than usual since the end of 2007. This continues to be a prominent theme until the end of October, with unexpected developments testing your resources during the first half of February and most of September. It is important to keep your expenses to a minimum and to build a solid foundation for the future through being aware of your spending habits and by stabilizing your income.
A shift in energy that happens early in January suggests that 2009 is going to be a very busy year for you. It seems that the pace of life will be more hectic than usual because of a change to the amount of responsibilities that you have… energies around you suggest that your working hours are likely to change in a way that means that you will have to juggle your everyday duties and obligations carefully in order to fulfill them all. The same applies to your study routine if you are a student. Connections you make with colleagues or fellow-students are likely to be fortunate during the middle part of February. The periods from the middle of May until the end of July, and again during September look especially hectic. It seems that your efforts to construct a workable routine will be nearly impossible because of the constant changes that you are likely to experience during this time. It is therefore important to keep as flexible as possible and to go with the flow until things settle down a bit. The heavy focus on responsibilities, relationships and/or a health issue that you have been experiencing since the end of 2007 continues to be around until the end of October, with energies suggesting that your involvement with others will include unexpected or unusual behaviour from them. This is especially true from the end of January until the middle of February, and again in September when others may change their mind or do something totally out of the blue that affects where you are going in your life. The best advice I can give is to remain as flexible as possible during these times and to keep your options open, rather than keeping your plans too rigid.
Single Librans will be very happy to hear that 2009 looks like it will be the best year for love that you have experienced for LONG time! Those of you looking for love are likely to find it this year, as long as you keep your expectations realistic. If you are already attached then this is an excellent time to renew the love you have for each other and to remember why you fell in love with your partner in the first place! For all Librans 2009 promises to be a fertile year on many levels. Those of you thinking of starting a family or adding to it are more than likely to be welcoming a new child into your family… those of you not thinking about doing this are also likely to be doing the same thing if precautions are not taken! On another level the fertile energy working in your life is likely to be expressed through a creative project or the start of a hobby that brings you a lot of happiness and enjoyment. If you are already involved in a creative field then this is likely to be a highly productive year for you. Since the end of 2007 there has been an energy at work in your life that has meant that it has been difficult to get new projects off the ground. This energy will be around until the end of October. From November and for a couple of years after then a shift in this energy suggests that you will be ready to make a fresh start in any area of your life that needs it… usually I see a change in job, a relationship, living arrangements and/or simply a change in attitude that impacts many areas of your life. This is the time to start spring-cleaning your life.
Events over the last 10 years or so have meant that the way you see yourself and value yourself has undergone a huge shift… possibly tied in to major changes to your financial situation. A shift in energy during 2008 means that this process of transformation is now complete, leaving you in a much better situation to appreciate all that has happened, and what this means for you now. As this energy changes focus, it suggests that over the next 15 years that your mind and ability to understand life will deepen considerably, and that your need to understand the complexities of various topics will increase. The hard work you have been putting into your involvement with groups, the children of other people and with friends looks like it will ease up considerably after October. It seems that the responsibilities you have been carrying have been considerable, or perhaps you have been missing a friend or child that has been out of your life for one reason or another. These trends too, will ease off giving you a better chance to enjoy the company of these people and situations. Sudden developments will test your flexibility in these areas this year… especially during the first half of February and during September… it is important to keep an open mind and heart in order to make the most of the opportunities being offered during these times (even though you may feel like you are on a roller-coaster ride!). The best energies that I see working in your life will be around all year and will help you to improve your home, probably through moving to a larger or new one, or a home with land around it; or through welcoming a new family member. Domestic and property matters are all positively accented during the year.
A better state of mind and increased levels of optimism this year will help you to see life differently and enable you to also take hold of the opportunities around you more easily. A shift in energy early in January will be around you for all of 2009 and suggests that education, travelling, and generally opening up your mind will be high on the agenda. Networking is accented, so I would suggest that you mix with as many people as possible in order to make the most of this energy because your contact with others is likely to be luckier than usual. However, from mid May until the end of July, and again during the second half of December you may need to keep your ideas and plans realistic and incorporate firm boundaries when making travel plans or attending to the areas of life mentioned. This is because you may be viewing situations a bit unrealistically during the times mentioned… it may be wise to avoid making major decisions for the same reason. Career matters and your involvement with authority figures continue to be prominent this year until the end of October. It seems that you will have to continue riding the wave of changes following on from unexpected developments in 2008 – possibly relating to your private life. Opportunities to break free from the restrictions you have been experiencing since the end of 2007 are likely to present themselves this year… especially during the first half of February and again during September. The trick is to create a structure at work or in your activities outside of the home that is flexible enough to allow sudden changes to it.
2009 is likely to be a year to remember Capricorn! A once in a lifetime energy shift for everyone – but particularly for you – happened last year and will be around for the next 15 years. This energy shift suggests that the way you see yourself has started the very slow, but definite process of transformation – especially if you were born towards the end of December. This process of transformation is likely to bring deeply emotional issues of power into the forefront. Another shift in energy this year means that 2009 looks great for improving your finances and assets… those of you looking to increase your income will be glad to know that indications look great for getting a pay rise and also for improving your self-esteem. However, you are also likely to find that your expenses increase this year – especially from mid May until the end of July, and again during the second half of December. It is important to create a little nest egg if you come across some money in order to cover all bases during the times mentioned. Legal matters and situations involving an in-law, foreign matters and/or education continue to drag along… the good news that these matters should be cleared up by the end of October. A shift in energy then suggests that the rest of the year will be great for moving ahead in your career and for showing others how capable you are in regards to handling extra responsibility. This energy will be around for about 2 years and suggests that you are in a good position to get a promotion and also to take what you have learnt since late 2007 and put it to good use.
The last couple of years seem to have been particularly trying for many of you in the sense that you have had to come to terms with major differences in values between yourself and a loved one. An energy that has been around since the end of 2007 has been part of the reason for this: it will be around until the end of October 2009. Another way you could be experiencing this energy is through your partner (business or marriage) having less financial or other resources available to them, that in turn affects your financial life. Although potentially trying, this is an opportunity for you to strengthen your own finances in a way that does not rely on someone else for security. It would be wise to avoid any extra debt, although this would be a good time to consolidate it. A shift in energy within the first week of 2009 looks like it will bring a major ray of sunshine into your life… this energy will be around for the whole year and won’t be around again for another twelve years so make the most of it! This energy suggests that you are ready for a major, positive new start in your life that is likely to feature education, travel and positive new people entering your life. For some of you there may even be a pregnancy or major new relationship. Although this energy is very positive, there are some pitfalls to be aware of. It is important this year, particularly from mid May until the end of July and again during the second half of December, to not go to far with situations in general and to keep in mind that it is important to have limits and boundaries for most things so that they don’t get out of control. Also remember to remove your rose-coloured glasses when dealing with people and situations in general!
A long standing situation involving another person – most probably your marriage or business partner – looks as though it will finally be sorted out… you should know where you stand by the end of October when a major shift in energy suggests that the difficulties you have had with this person are likely to settle down. Before this happens though it seems that there will still be times when sudden developments involving them will need flexibility and an open mind in order for situations to be resolved in a way that means that everyone involved is happy. These dates are from the end of January until the middle of February, and again during September: these periods of time are times when you can expect to be able to break free from some of the restrictions and responsibilities you have been experiencing since the end of 2007. Your luck this year is tied in with learning to be patient and in learning about yourself. This year seems to be one where preparation through simply experiencing life and watching for ‘signs’. This process will help you prepare for major new start in 2010. For some of you, this year will see good karma returning to you. A person from your past that you had helped in some way is likely to come back into your life and be of assistance. For others, your involvement behind the scenes either through planning and preparation for the new start I see for you in 2010, or through your involvement in a hospital, prison or retreat setting (or voluntary work), will be important in 2009. |
