April 21, 2009 - May 21, 2010 This birthday year for Taurus starts off with the best energies that you have had for a long time (twelve years!) for career matters and for working towards your true vocation. The energy involved in this began working in your life early in January 2009 and will be around until the middle of January 2010… giving you a lot of time to make use of its positive influence. If you have been thinking about taking a leap of faith in terms of your career, then this is the time to do it (apart from a couple of periods of time noted below). As well as career matters, this energy is an excellent one for obtaining approval not only from government agencies, but from any type of superior – including a parent. Knowing this, it is an excellent time for applying for a new job, or for any type of government approval. If you have had problems in your relationship with a parent, then this is an excellent time for working towards resolution of these problems (if that is what you want). If you want to open up communication with one of your parents, most probably your mother, then this is also an auspicious time for doing so. Like anything, too much of a good thing can be bad… this is also the case with this energy. There are certain times when you will need to show caution in the areas mentioned above in that you will take on more than you can handle, or where you will be expecting too much and of people and situations in your life. These periods of time are from the middle of May until the end of July 2009, and again during the second half of December 2009. On a brighter note though, this energy can also mean that there is some highly spiritual aspect of your work that comes to the fore during this time. This energy changes its focus from the middle of January 2010 and it’s influence will be around for about a year after then and suggests that you will begin to see the results of the risks taken and changes made to your career, study habits and/or other major life changes that were made during 2009. 2010 looks like a great time to expand your social circle, join (or start) a group, and/or make a financial gain – particularly if you are self-employed. Since late 2007 there has been a heavier focus than usual on issue around your children (or potential children), love affairs and/or it has been harder than usual to find enjoyment in your life. This energy continues to be around until the end of October, when you can expect that these matters should all improve. Before that happens, however, it looks as though you will need to go through another adjustment period similar to the ones you experienced in November 2008 and February 2009, before you can leave some of these situations behind you. This period of adjustment is indicated during September 2009. Perhaps the best time for achieving stability with loved ones seems to be during the first week of October. These few days look to be good for working through difficulties successfully and for pouring a solid foundation not only for the love you share with others, but also for the love you have for yourself. Another aspect of this energy accents creativity. So it looks as though those of you with any type of creative pastime have been working harder than usual at your craft over the last couple of years. You’ll be glad to know that by the end of the year you will be in a much better position to start seeing the results of your labours. Once this energy shifts gears at the end of October 2009 the focus for you will be on restructuring your daily life. For many of you the next two and a half years will be spent on changing your work or study hours, and/or on improving your health – possibly through incorporating a new, stricter diet or through changing your exercise routine. The motivation to make these changes may come to you through situations that develop from early November until early December 2009, and again from the middle of January until the middle of February 2010. Early April 2010 sees a temporary shift in this energy that means that you may need to go back to the issues involving your children, loves, issues around love and creativity to sort out any unresolved issues. For those born May 14 - 20 This year you may experience confusion, deception or uncertainty regarding your life direction, relationship with people you look up to (ie, a parent, boss, leader of some sort). Watch for difficult to diagnose health problems such as viral or fluid problems in your body; or an illness that saps your energy levels. Also, watch your intake of alcohol or any addictive drug because it may be easier than usual to form addictive habits during this year. Your body may be particularly sensitive to various substances. A constructive way to use this dreamy energy is to get involved in any type of artistic activity such as art, music and/or dance. This energy strongly supports any activity involving these themes. |
