2016 and 17 New Work

Some of my favourite non book works made over the last two years, there are lots more pictured in my blog

Collaboration with Nature 2016

Structure made from mulberry stems with mulberry bast paper stretched over with silk formed by silkworms directly onto the structure hanging by hand spun silk thread.

Signs1 Background paper is abaca with ginger-lily and red-hot poker, the colour is Bangladesh hemp and the feature is well-beaten abaca stretched over wire forms.

Paper is Light Work produced to fit inside a black stationery box as part of the Paper is Exhibition. The papers used were Bangladesh hemp and well beaten abaca the abaca was stretched over a wire form that had previously been dipped into a vat containing a mix of the two fibres.
