In Alexander's time, of course, to be a philosopher meant to be a scientist. And to be a scientist then as now meant to be an expert in logic and rational thinking.
Does the theory have merit? It is worth noting that at that time Macedonia was the strongest power in Europe.

Global Reality is a private non-profit organization with achievements in the fields of astronomy*, the environment, high precision optical design and manufacture, computer technology and systems, databases, 3D computer graphics, medical imaging, economics, taxation, telescope and camera design and related fields.
The purpose of this web site is to bring reports about some of their work before interested parties. Each report contains a 'Forward' briefly discussing matters related to the material therein. The reports and essays have been written for the lay person, not academia. A personal file is also included.
