Environment - Population
There are number of factors pertinent to Global Warming, among them CO2, population, energy usage, and consumption to name a few. Here population in one small corner of the world, Western Australia, is considered. A simple video (2 mB) showing population growth over the next 100 years, assuming certain birth rates, death rates, average life expectancy, and nett migration rates.
Some of these factors are politically sensitive, that is, they are dependent on political and economic pressures. Further models are being constructed to show how each of these factors can change population outcomes and global warming, allowing the user to experiment with different mixes to produce different outcomes.
