Thankyou to all the wonderful people who donated goods and services to help restore Bear and Cruiser back to their former glory.

MITAVITE STOCKFEEDS and NOELS PLACE who have provided a huge amount of feed and supplements, LANSKEYS SADDLEWORLD who have kindly donated new halters to the boys, EQUINE SOLUTIONS have donated herbal feed supplements and a huge box full of goodies and HORSES IN DROUGHT INC. have also generously offered their assistance.

And who could forget -

who were all most helpful upon my 1600km quest to source help for the boys.

Thankyou also goes to Geoff and Joyce Jones who have ever so kindly donated the paddock to us for free during their rehabilitation, Tom who has donated some grassy hay

Special thankyou the very kind and caring people from the Eques forum and also from Horsechat who contacted us personally and made a contribution. Kay(Billysmum), Onky & Shrek, and everybody else who may not have been able to assist financially, but were able to offer invaluable advice on the care and rehabilitation of horses in such condition.

Whilst Bear and Cruiser are no longer in need of assistance and have been re-homed to loving families there are still many horses in need, especially now with the drought affecting our southern states.

The following horse welfare groups are just a handful of those operating to give these animals a second chance at life.  Please take the time to visit their websites, read their stories and of course donate generously.  Every little bit makes a difference.
