Gecko Lodge is a pleasant two-bedroom lodge set on five acres at the base of Mt Bakewell in Western Australia’s oldest inland settlement, York.
York is located 97 kilometres from Perth and is an easy drive taking just over an hour.
Come and enjoy a stay at the Merigan’s country property in a fully self-contained two bedroom lodge located just five minutes from the town centre.
The lodge sleeps up to five people and has been furnished and decorated throughout.
It is adjunct to a large country house, and is completely separate with it’s own carport and outdoor area.
The kitchen is well equipped; you can bake a cake and cook a roast dinner and we provide the little things to make your stay more pleasant including serviettes, salt and pepper, tomato and barbecue sauce and complimentary tea and coffee facilities, including plunger coffee.
There is an outdoor area with a brick/gas barbecue and table offering sweeping views of the native surrounds up to Mount Bakewell.
The property has a flock of sheep and there is a resident dog, in the coming months we will be adding chickens.
