Hi there, and welcome to my home on the web. My name is SweetPea, or as my family and friends call me, Denise. I live in Geelong,  which is in southern Victoria, Australia. I am married to a wonderful man, Chris and between us we have three daughters, Kellye, Michelle and Jenny. Kellye has 3 daughters Jessica,  Olivia and Laura. She also has a new little baby boy, Liam.

I am not working at the moment as I have a back injury which prevents me from doing a whole lot. I did a pain management course at the Geelong Hospital to help me manage my pain which you can read about HERE.

I completed a course at TAFE in November 2002, where I was studying office administration. I also did courses in Medical and Finance. I'm proud to say, that I passed all course. I am also going to be going back to school in 2005, to complete my high school VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). How easy it is for the mind to become inactive and idle. It's great to get back amongst others, and do some socializing. For those who are older like myself, don't let age stop you from returning to school. You never know what you can achieve.

UPDATE: I have returned to school this year (2006) to complete my high school studies. I am doing year 12 over 2years and am studying Psychology and English this year.

I love to do a lot of things, but unfortunately I'm limited due to my back. Although I do try not to let it stop me too much. I love to watch a lot of sport though, which I think drives my family mad. Every time the Olympics, Tennis, Cricket or Football matches come on television, I see a rolling of the eyes and hear a big SIGH! from them. I especially love my footy and follow Richmond- The Mighty Tigers in the AFL (Australian Football League). Am I a one-eyed supporter when it comes to my team and country? You bet I am.

I also love to watch a good movie. I'll watch anything except horror. You can keep that one for yourself thank you. John Wayne would definitely rank amongst my favourite. I have amassed quite a collection of his films over the years. My all time favourite of John Wayne is The Cowboys. I cry every time I see it. Another favourite of mine is Somewhere In Time, with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. I never tire of watching that movie. I definitely love watching the older movies. They just don't make them like that any more. Although to be honest, Gladiator and Brave Heart do rank up there with the best. (And of course, they both star Aussies.)
