Jan 2002 Rae Commins made contact, this resolved the whereabouts of John Alcock and his wife Elizabeth Pender, They together with their children left Stanley in about 1900 to search for gold in Kanowna, near Kalgoorlie WA Jan 2002, Made contact with Robert Smith (Walter Smith, Lillian Summers) Dec 2002.. Another Son of Thomas and Jessie was James Keith, made contact with his Son Jim and had a great day at their Christmas function meeting all this family, much more detail to follow Have recently found another branch of our family. In 1896 Jessie Alcock married John Neven in Corowa NSW. Have spoken to Donald Neven and his Sister, Jessie, who has carried on the name for 3 generations, (Originally Jessie Fraser married Thomas Alcock in 1871), looking forward to receive some more information from this part of the family.
