A peaceful area with interesting sandstone formations along most part of the river.
The dreaded Salvinia molesta makes paddling nearly impossible in the upper reaches of the river.
Salvinia molesta as thick as it gets. This is winter what is summer going to look like? This weed along with the established Alligator weed is killing this river.

This was the weirdest thing I have ever struck whilst paddling. Two people playing a rendition of Amazing Grace, My Bonnie Lassie amongst others on bagpipes !!! The sound reverberated throughout the sandstone gorge and took some time to locate the source of the music.
A nice finish to the day, with the sun nearly set and the temperatures beginning to drop.
