The ships log:
Myall Lakes Polaris paddle December 2004.
This was our first Polaris paddle. David and myself formed a team and entered the veterans class. The two days can only be described as fantastic. A very well organised event with a great bunch of paddlers. The organisers and volunteers should be congratulated.
The Polaris event is best described as a Kayak Orienteering event, combining navigation and paddling. The markers were set from the top of the Lake to the bottom covering a vast area of the Myall Lake system.
We paddled around 60 km over the two days... not including the cross country jaunts for some of the markers.
