Island - Chance bay to Peter Bay
Leaving Chance Bay on an overcast morning, with the promise of fine weather for the day. This location is just before the notorious Solway passage. We were running late this morning and approached it on the high tide, resulting in a non eventful paddle to Whitehaven beach.
Within the hour, the weather had cleared a little we rounded the last headland out of Solway.
Nice beach but very overpopulated with many boats, float-planes we decided to continue on.
With a gentle SE breeze we continue onto Tongue Bay for lunch.

Arriving at Peter Bay. Not a good low to mid tide beach but spectacular scenery with a great campsite.

These tables at most of the campsites were a blessing when it came to meal times.
What happens to a dry bag when left unattended. Rats?
