Rockley should now be renamed 'Dustley' after the last meeting. Practice was a scary affair with absolutely no visibility in some corners. Even the flag marshals were struggling to see the riders. Even so, we at least got to run round the track for a few laps and see how our new bikes for the season would perform.

Paul found that his 250 gearing was a little high compared to Dennis and myself. Dennis got his 400 back on the track, but says he still has to sort the jetting out. He finished the bike at 11pm the night before going to Rockley!! Myself,  i found that with the porting/piston changes i had made i had to ride my 250 like a 125. I too will have to sort jetting out even though the stab in the dark i took was close.

I enjoyed the handling of the 81 250, a bit of change from beating myself to death on the 74 400 and 74 CZ 250. Suspension was soft, which was OK for Rockley grass track, i will have to make some adjustments before riding at an MX track though.
