Ian Duchesne, (that’s pronounced doo-shane)… originally from the UK, has been playing Melbourne pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars for over ten years. During this time he has played with bands and duos, as well as performing extensively solo. Both solo and in duos, Ian has held a number of residencies for extended periods.
Performing songs live without backing tracks, Ian is able to captivate an audience with his voice and guitar skills. For duo performances Ian works with a variety of musicians.
Drawing on a huge and ever expanding repertoire of popular songs covering six decades, Ian has the ability to deliver fresh performances week after week; always playing songs to suit the audience and occasion, sometimes throwing in some of his own original songs.
Whether for a sports bar, mellow bistro setting, wedding or any special function, Ian always delivers a friendly, light hearted and, above all, entertaining performance.
