Mournful Congregation 4-way split 12" LP/ CD will be released on BATTLE KOMMAND RECORDS(US) in the coming months.

Mournful Congregation will enter the studio in November this year to begin recording their follow-up to 2005's "The Monad Of Creation". This album will once again be
released by WEIRD TRUTH PRODUCTIONS(JAP) in 2008.

FOR THE RECORD; Considering most sites on the internet concerning Mournful Congregations' history seem to relate such a great relation to Chalice
also from Australia, it has become necessary to dispel this myth. The prime founders and composers of Mournful Congregation have never performed
in Chalice. . . . Mournful Congregation were formed in 1993 and Chalice were formed in 1997. To clarify where these relations originated:
The first relation, is that the current drummer of Mournful Congregation also helped form Chalice, of whom he no longer is a part of. He also joined
Mournful Congregation before Chalice existed. The second relation is that the current Mournful Congregation lead guitarist also performed in Chalice
for a period, and since the year 2000, has performed in Mournful Congregation. The third relation is that on one track, The Epitome Of Gods and Men Alike,
members of Chalice performed. Seeing that many sites have claimed: Mournful Congregation was formed by ex-members of Chalice. . . .
it has become necessary to remind that this is false and misleading. Mournful Congregations' history reaches beyond Chalice, and regardless,
is a TOTALLY separate entity with little or no musical parallels, composed primarily by musicians unrelated to Chalice.
