In 2001 the Division decided to hold a regular biennial national
meeting. This conference is now held in February (in odd numbered
years). It alternates with the Division postgraduate student
conference. Our goal is that this meeting becomes a regular
feature on the international colloid and surface science calendar.
The ACIS meetings now provide a permanent forum for the A.E.
Alexander lecture.
