Drops and Bubbles
Synopsis:
There are countless important colloidal systems involving
drops and bubbles, but our knowledge of how these entities
interact is less advanced than our knowledge of interactions
involving rigid particles and/or surfaces. This theme will
include papers investigating (a) the properties of emulsions,
foams and bubble-particle dispersions; (b) the relationship
of these properties to drop and/or bubble interactions; and
(c) experimental and theoretical studies of interactions involving
deformable interfaces.
