Surface Forces, Nanotribology and Biological Interactions
Synopsis:
This theme has a dual aim: first, to provide a forum for
discussion of the latest advances in the scientific area of
surface force measurements and the properties of thin liquid
films, with particular focus on nanotribology and biological
interactions; and second, to give the Australian colloid and
interface science community an opportunity to celebrate the
work of Jacob Israelachvili, who made many seminal advances
while he was working in this country in the 1970s and 1980s.
