Surface Forces, Nanotribology and Biological Interactions

Synopsis:

This theme has a dual aim: first, to provide a forum for discussion of the latest advances in the scientific area of surface force measurements and the properties of thin liquid films, with particular focus on nanotribology and biological interactions; and second, to give the Australian colloid and interface science community an opportunity to celebrate the work of Jacob Israelachvili, who made many seminal advances while he was working in this country in the 1970s and 1980s.
