Welcome to September Skies Rattery. I hereby dedicate this site to all the fuzzballs out there, and all the humans who can't help but love them!

This web site was made by me in Tasmania, as a resource for anyone who wants to learn more about rats and mice. Maybe you're starting out, and looking for a pet, or for information on how to keep your little friends happy and healthy. Maybe you're a confirmed rat-lover or mouse-aholic, and you want to learn about something specific, like raising orphaned babies or what dosage of medicines to use. Or maybe you're just browsing, and stumbled here by accident! Whatever the reason, I hope this site is useful for you, especially as a source of inspiration to give all those small furry things out there the happiest and healthiest life possible.

These pages were written by me, based on my experience and research. Any areas I do not have experience of, I have tried to provide excellent links from my own net-surfing. I have tried my hardest to provide useful and correct information, but I cannot take responsibility for anything that happens as the result of reading this website! (including the sudden urge to go out and buy/rescue a wonderful bundle of fluff!).

I will now no longer be updating this website, as I now have a baby due to arrive any day, and no longer keep up with the latest ratty information. Many of the general ratty websites in my links page are regularly updated, so i hope you can find what you're looking for there :-)
